Lovely place and the owner is friendly and helpful! Rooms are super cosy and warm with a good supply of teas and coffees available and the beds were comfy! The hairdryers are even top-quality too! The location is about a 2 minute walk to the seafront with a lovely selection of restaurants and cafés nearby. Really had a perfect stay here, would recommend!

We picked this location for a trip to the Plymouth gin distillery. It was only a short walk over the Hoe to get there and everything’s you need is within an easy walk. Carla was a great host and helped us out with everything we needed. We’d also recommend the Port O Call cafe for traditional home cooked British food with incredibly reasonable prices.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this guest house in 6 months. It really is a great find. The rooms are excellent and spotlessly clean. The instructions for entry and exit are really clear and all communication is great. The location is really nice and very close to the seafront where you have plenty of choice for eating and drinking. We used this as a base to drop my daughter at the university. Hope to stay again!

For the personal touch and pleasant surroundings, Carla and her family are the unsung heroes of Plymouth Town. There are absolutely no negatives regarding this beautiful guesthouse, from the food to the fundamentals. Based literally in the Hoe, in a quiet street and opposite a small park. There is a pub 150 yards away and this situated on the waterfront and gives unblemished views out to sea, whilst allowing you to watch all the traffic associated in the bay! Carla and her family have always made us feel welcomed, and to be able to call her "Devon's second mum" is an understatement. Everybody should have a lady like this in their lives! Her care and attention to details are exemplary. The house is always spotless and clean, and it is blatantly obvious that the highest standards are always being met by every member of her family. If you go to Plymouth, then this should be your first choice accommodation. I wouldn't consider any other venue now. Thank you for everything Carla!!!
